I am a graduate student in the department of Network Learning Technology at the College of EECS, National Central University, Taiwan. My faculty advisor is Dr. Tak-Wai Chan and also is the chairman of the department. Currently, my research interests lie with the area of Applied Artificial Intelligence, particularly with respect to Educational and Interactive Math Programs. I spent summer 2005 studying at NCU with Chan's Circle. I am still attempting to maintain the G1:1 website. Actually, we are planning on further porting it over to the center's Onyx websites. Most of my work focuses on PDA Programming and G1:1 Backend System Development. Prior to joining the department, I received my bachelor of science degree in Computer Science from the Soochow University in Taipei, Taiwan, with distinction, in June 2005. At SCU I worked with Professor Shin-Jer Yang to develop a Web-based Customer Service and Storage Warehouse System. I am interested in many subjects in computer science, especially those related to Programming Languages, Network Security, Wireless Networks and Operating Systems. I am also interested in several aspects of artificial intelligence ranging from machine learning to cognitive science. During the senior year at SCU, I spent my spare time at the end of my last two semesters day in and day out proceeding to the TOEFL and GRE programs.
